Located in the heart of downtown Denver, this renovated 1914 Beaux-Arts train station is now home to 10 chef-owned restaurants, bars, boutiques and the 112-room Crawford Hotel. It’s also the terminal for the University of Colorado A line train, which whisks travelers to and from Denver International Airport. This iconic Denver landmark is LEED-Gold certified for the use of recycled materials, increased ventilation, natural light and a green cleaning policy in the lower level’s bus concourse.
This world-renowned live music venue is nestled in between two towering red sandstone monoliths, which create impeccable acoustics and stunning vistas. Designated a National Historic Landmark, the amphitheater is a top destination for both Colorado residents and tourists from around the globe. Don’t have a concert ticket? The surrounding park offers miles of hiking and biking trails, plus the amphitheater itself is a destination for fitness enthusiasts and weekend yogis.
Self-taught local artist Pat Milbery kicked off the “Love this City” mural series in tandem with the 10th anniversary of Denver Arts Week in 2016. Although all six murals are different, they all contain the words, “Love This City.” Find this one at the intersection of Broadway and Arapahoe St. So what does Milbery love about Denver? The sunshine that lifts his spirit on a daily basis, the collaboration within the creative community, having mountains close by, delicious green chile dishes and strong government and business support for public art.
Denver’s skyline, framed by the towering peaks of the Rocky Mountains, shows a vibrant and active outdoor city. This view is captured from the Anschutz Family Terrace of the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and includes the rolling green lawns of City Park in the foreground, as well as the gold-domed Colorado State Capitol Building.

The Colorado Rockies (MLB) play at this classic ballpark from April to September. The Rooftop offers stunning panoramic views of the entire Front Range, as does as the 5280 Craft Bar, which features 52 beer taps and serves gourmet burgers at exactly a mile high above sea level. Schedule a behind-the-scenes tour to learn the ins and outs of the stadium.
Perhaps Denver’s most iconic piece of art, the Blue Bear peering through the window at the Colorado Convention Center has welcomed millions of convention attendees and tourists since 2005. Officially named “I See What You Mean” by late local artist Lawrence Argent, the 40-foot-tall Blue Bear is curious and playful, and has become a beloved mascot for The Mile High City.
