Blockbuster Concerts in Denver

Denver’s music scene rivals such cities as Los Angeles and New York, in terms of opportunities to catch live music. Coming from out of town, the sheer number of concerts is undoubtedly overwhelming, so to simplify things, we've compiled a list of the must-see Denver shows. Many of these are exclusive to the region.

February | March | April | May | June | July | August | October

February

Feb. 5, 2024 – TOOL @ Ball Arena
The perplexing heavy rock complexity of Tool is set to reign triumphantly again in Denver. The first of many Maynard James Keenan performances in The Mile High City in 2024, this one, albeit the crown jewel of them all, should be an exaction of the greatest abstraction.

Feb. 13, 2024 - Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull and Ricky Martin @ Ball Arena
These three may just be the holy trinity of ‘00s Latin male music stars. While on a mission to stir up as much nostalgia as possible with an outing that they’ve dubbed  the Trilogy Tour, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull and Ricky Martin are (literally) bringing a party for the ages (the ones who were there that is.)

March

March 3, 2024 - Nicki Minaj @ Ball Arena
The reigning queen of rap, Nicki Minaj has finally returned to her throne with a slew of pop/rap hits and her faithful follow-up to her seminal debut, effectively titled Pink Friday 2. It’s been far too long since her last appearance in Denver, and given the circumstances, Minaj is poised to turn The Mile High City into Gag City come March 3.

March 19, 2024 - Madonna @ Ball Arena
The legendary Madonna is on an Eras Tour of her own as she winds her way to Denver on the remarkable 79-show-long, Celebration Tour. With a legacy as etched in stone as hers, a celebration is an understatement to the amount of history this tour touches on. Perhaps, magnum opus would be a better title.

April

April 4, 2024 - Tim McGraw @ Ball Arena
The hit-making, superfit country legend will be performing live with Carly Pearce at Ball Arena. Need we say more?

April 5 & 6, 2024 - Dom Dolla @ Red Rocks
EDM breakout Dom Dolla is returning to Red Rocks Amphitheatre following his blizzard-barraged debut last year that was nothing short of magic. With his eminent return, everyone is crossing their fingers to rave in winter one more time, with this burgeoning star.

April 17, 2024 - Jungle @ Red Rocks
Jungle has been on a ’70s time-worn and rose-tinted journey that has led them to their Red Rocks debut come April. With nostalgic hues and their uniquely indelible shake and groove, Jungle makes their ever-growing audiences move from the old into the new.

April 23, 2024 - Heilung @ Red Rocks
Heilung may have the most one-of-a-kind shows on the road right now. More of a ritual than anything remotely traditional, Heilung brings their European experimental folk music into a world of phantasmagorical lore, complete with intricate costumes and in a spellbinding and cryptic vision. Something this imaginative is damn near unmissable.

May

May 12, 2024 – Sleep Token @ Red Rocks
We will let you into a secret, Sleep Token may just be the buzziest show coming to Red Rocks this year. The evocative metal band, known for their raw shape-shifting sound and mysterious identities, are climbing rapidly to the forefront of metal and hard rock. Don’t be surprised if the next time you see them they are selling out arenas; if you know, you know.

June

June 4, 2024 - All Time Low @ Red Rocks
Pop-punk stalwarts All Time Low are pop-punk legends, and this year they are celebrating 20 years of skin in the game at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Riding the pop-punk resurgence, their timing couldn’t be better to let it rip like it used to back in the days of studded belts, black eyeliner and Myspace Top 8.

June 14 & 15, 2024 - Zach Bryan @ Empower Field at Mile High
Zach Bryan may just be the name on everyone’s lips, at least in the country world that is. But genre be damned, Bryan has become a crossover sensation with his earnest songwriting and admirable character that has run him up the Billboard charts on track to becoming a household name, if he isn’t already. Hell, he’s playing at Empower Field – we think this is what “making it” looks like.

June 17, 2024 - Parcels @ Red Rocks
Parcels’ lone 2024 U.S. tour date is at none other than Red Rocks. For the tightly synced Australian disco-rock outfit, it’s more than a night at the iconic venue, it's their largest U.S. show to date and surely the launching point for their full-stop takeover. This one might just be history in the making.

June 20, 2024 - The Rolling Stones @ Empower Field at Mile High
The Rolling Stones make their heavily anticipated return to Denver this summer. If you couldn’t tell by the sudden increase of memorabilia and their notorious logo splattered upon sidewalks and emblazoned on Empower Field’s facade for a time, it’s a big deal. Truly no one, outside of Paul McCartney, does it like them, so when the opportunity to go presents itself you’ve got to go.

June 27, 2024 - blink-182 @ Red Rocks
Newly reunited and it feels good. Blink-182 are whole again, with their original lineup and back to their old ways. Coming out just as electric and banter-filled as their younger days, Blink-182 are banging those power chords and coming-of-age anthems with the fervor of their twenty-something younger selves. Time away apart has only made them sharper and a little bit crazier too.

June 27 & 28, 2024 - Morgan Wallen @ Empower Field at Mile High
At this point, Morgan Wallen is a bona fide superstar. His 2021 album, "Dangerous: The Double Album" seems to live in the Billboard Top Ten, and he crushed all of 2023 with his inescapable hit, “Last Night.” Now, the country titan is playing stadiums in what seems like an overnight success, but if you’ve been paying attention, it also has felt inevitable.

July

July 18, 2024 - Dr. Dog @ Red Rocks
Dr. Dog’s days of touring full-stop may be over, but they are far from done as evidenced by their forthcoming Red Rocks debut. Their only date of 2024, one which will see fans far and wide descend upon The Mile High City, will be rare no doubt, for any fan who believes they’d never be able to see their favorite band again.

August

Aug 3, 2024 - Foo Fighters @ Empower Field at Mile High
The Foo Fighters are poised to make their grand return to stadiums all across the country following the untimely passing of lauded drummer, Taylor Hawkins. Dave Grohl and the gang are ensuring the show goes on not just for their sake and the fans, but because it’s what Hawkins would’ve wanted. To that, there is no greater tribute.

Aug 14 & 15, 2024 - The Revivalists + Spoon @ Red Rocks
The Revivalists are eyeing a reprise of their annual Red Rocks foray, but this time they are bringing indie heavyweights, Spoon, along for the ride. Roots rock and an indie great back-to-back? Sounds like a mid-aughts fever dream — we’re in!

October

Oct 5 & 6, 2024 - PSYRYN: CLOZEE + LSDREAM @ Red Rocks
Two of Bass Music’s breakout stars are teaming up for an explosive collaboration. PYSRYN the collective moniker, will see the coming together of LSDREAM and CLOZEE for not just a performance but a full album coming in 2024 as well. Brace your neck, because you’ll be riding the rail anywhere within earshot of this blowout.
