Orphan – **1/2
I went in to this movie expecting badness. The previews were lame, and the last movie this director did was House of Wax with Paris Hilton. However, it really wasn’t terrible. It frayed my nerves really well, I was on the edge of my seat for most of the movie. It was also R rated so the violence was pretty graphic and bloody. The twist ending was kind of awesome in its absurdity, but I wish it was pulled off better. It kind of shows up at the end out of nowhere… The girl who played the Orphan was amazing, I actually can’t believe she is so young, a lot of depth to her.
